Favorite Male Ranger:

This is one that I’m pretty sure is obvious. I have two favorites.

Let’s start with Dustin. He was the first character that I really loved. He had the yellow going on for him and I love my yellow on Jubes. He also does that whole airheaded then pulls out a bit of genius. Seriously the rest of the team forgot Cam, but did Dustin? No. Dustin is goofy and caring while always looking out for his friends. This leaves him vulnerable to being wronged by the other characters. I relate to this. Dustin always tries to see the best in people. In many ways I’m similar and I see myself in this character, even if I’d like to be a bit more easy going. Dustin is also my shipping bicycle

Justin. It took me awhile to like this character as one of things I heard going into this fandom that one wasn’t suppose to like Cole or Justin. Well I’ve given both a try and have to say I really love Justin. He’s another character I relate to. He’s smart and okay I may not be genius levels of smart, but I’m defiantly intelligent. He also has social issues. He can hang out with people older than him and it’s all cool, but the minute anyone is ‘hey want to hang out with someone your own age’ he tries to find a way out of it and obviously feels awkward about it. That I can relate to a lot. Justin is also cool from a writing perspective because he has a lot of angst. First his mom dies, they lose the family business and his father drops him off at the shelter/orphanage because he can’t deal. Then Rocky gets hurt and judging by the amount of devastated on Justin’s face Rocky actually meant something to him. This is supported when Justin sneaks out to see Rocky. Then he loses his first team. Then he loses his second team. There is so much that can be done with that. Also he’s young, younger than the rest of the team. When you write the other characters you pretty much give them the personality they had on the show and you tweek it a bit, but with Justin you can age him up and pretty much go anywhere with him. This is a character that has tons of potential and needs lots of hugs.

Second favorites:

Cam – snark and wit all the things I love. This is how Northstar should be when written properly. Plus he is a tech, a ranger and therefore puts too much on his plate till he’s exhausted. I so relate to that too.

Bridge- How can you not love Bridge? He’s Bridge! He’s goofy, but intelligent and does things in his own endearing way.

Andros – I love a good socially awkward angst fest, plus he has some epic back story that just needs to be played with.

RJ – RJ is just made of cool with how laid back he is to all the hardships he went through with his family problems and then finding a family in his JKP team/rangers.
