Today was the resident's halloween party at work. There was a mix up about the costume contest, which didn't happen and I think I was one of the few people that still made a resident and themselves a costume, but all in all it was fun.
One of my coworkers dressed as the Wicked Witch of the East from Wizard of Oz. If there had been a costume contest she so would've won.
I turned one of the residents into a Hershey's Kiss. She loved it. Actually she tried to get past the tin foil because she was convinced there was chocolate under it.
One of my residents said he was partial to the red ranger (he likes PR, his grandkids used to watch it all the time when they were younger) and so then it was a matter of picking SPD or MMPR. Even with the mask everyone recongized me. Also why is it that when you dress like a Power Ranger suddenly everyone wants to take your picture?
I took the day off after clinical by going out with a friend to dinner after the resident's party. I finally am starting to feel better and not in that my antibiotic if finally kicking in way (I have a sinus infection), but rather in the regaining my confidence way.
The next classmate that tells me I can't, that tells me my course load is too much is going to get 'the look' (I used it to the boy at con who said my SPD green uniform wasn't canon and he immediantly started backtracking) and then they will be told "The only way I can't is if I tell myself I can't."
Going to get behind on meme...paper due Monday and much Respiratory studying to do. Also some math practice is in order since the comp is Tues.
