I'm a little late filling out paper work for my state school because I had intended to take this semester off from them and concentrate on my nursing. Best laid plans...but I thought I only needed 4 English classes to complete my degrees with them so I signed up and began the process of getting financial aide. Last semester put me over credit limit and I need to fill out a reinstatement paper and hopefully get approved. I needed three signitures. One from my gen ed advisor and one each from major advisors. It took five different buildings and two hours and then having to leave to find that first signiture. I had to go back in today because I had to go into work Thursday and couldn't wait any longer to see an advisor. The walk-in advisor today was running late and they told me I might have to wait till the afternoon. Thankfully the girl and I got to talking and she realized I just needed a signiture and squeezed me in with someone else.

Except 2 and a half years ago I had all my gen eds taken care of. Well it turns I out I thought I had more years of French in high school than I actually did and I need two semester of a foreign language. So today it went from 4 English class to 4 English classes and 2 Sign Language classes. I tried to fit Spanish into my schedule, but that didn't work. I looked at a few others and it just wasn't going to happen.

I have an appointment Wed to talk to Gen Ed about graduating next summer. I called my English advisor to get the signiture I need and I have talked to the psych department about their walk in policy and the person I need to see is having walk-ins right around the time of my appointment Wed.

So hopefully I can get all this paperwork filled out and get financial aide. So far it looks like I'll be graduating in the summer. Am going to send my English advisor an e-mail since that is apparently the best way to get a hold of him and then start working on my nursing reinstatement letter. What happened to having a break during break?
