Walked into a resident's room today and there it was...the next book in the Earth Children Series. I think a part of me died of happiness when I saw it, especially since it doesn't come out till April.
Yeah, his neice works in a library.
I got to touch it, it's so pretty. Well okay, it's sorta plain and is a rough copy, but omg it was just sitting there.
Of course we got to talking about the series and what he likes and what I liked. I'm so tempted to buy him a copy of his favorite book from that series the next time I'm at a bookstore.
Then it was more towards the end of the day and he offered to let me take it home to read it, even though he's only 100 pages in, as long as I brought it back tomorrow. Sadly I declined because well homework and I didn't think staying up till early this morning reading it would be a good idea. Being an adult is difficult. :( *pouts*
But anyway I so now can't wait till April!
