I'm house sitting for my aunt this weekend and I stopped over to get reaquainted with the house/have the tv explained/make sure the dog still likes me. While my cousin was me directions for how to stream Netflix (I've been encouraged to watch Merlin) my Aunt started messing around on her computer. She found some old pictures, things from about 2/3 years ago and then pulled up scenes from a film my cousin had been working on with some friends. My cousin is about 17 and he'd apparently done this a few years ago. It was a remake of Romeo and Juliet...as Romeo and Julius. They'd based their script of the orginal text but modernized and added goofy lines. Essentially is was him, two guys and a girl...who'd refused to play Juliet so they made it gay...and then put themselves in camo with fake guns while filming out in the woods. It made for some interesting scenes. I'm kinda really proud of him right now cause what I saw was hilarious, but amazing at the same time.

Also there are too many good prompts on [livejournal.com profile] queer_fest and I don't know what to pick.
