Interrupted:
“I know we had plans and that it’s a lot to ask,” Dani says as she sits down on the couch next to her girlfriend. “I just think having you there would help with the ‘Nobody Gets Hurt’ plan.”
Xi’an nods as she takes Dani’s hands and gives them a squeeze. “I’ll help. I just have to arrange a sitter first.”
“Thank you.”
Xi’an pulls her into a kiss. When they part she tells Dani, “Go, help with prep work.”
“Should’ve known not to make plans,” Dani laughs as she gets up.
Xi’an agrees. Dani leans in for another kiss.
