Rescued:
Jesse isn’t sure who set off the emergency alarm, but it seems to throb in time with his headache. He wakes up groaning. Kix makes a noise that’s all distressed as he wraps arms around him. Jesse’s grip is tight. “You were missing.”
“I was captured, but escaped,” Kix informs him.
Jesse’s eyes widen. He cups Kix’s face. Kix gives him a quick kiss.
Then Jesse remembers. “We tried to kill Ahsoka.”
“There was a control chip in your head. She’s fine, trying to capture Rex.”
“Maul?”
“He’s contained.”
Jesse sets his blasters to stun. “We should get some medics.”
