A Break:
“Headache?” Wolffe asks.
Bultar hums an affirmative as she rubs at her neck. She sets her datapad down.
“Need anything to eat or drink?” he asks.
Bultar shakes her head. “Banks checked in, got me to stop for lunch. I can take a break for tea.”
She gets up, pauses to give Wolffe a brief kiss, and then moves to set her teapot on her hot plate. She winces as she sits back down. Wolffe takes off his gloves and tucks them in his belt.
“Back rub?” he offers.
She nods, then sighs as his fingers settle against her neck.
