Title: Catching the Rain

Summary: Howzer and Gree say goodbye before Gree heads to Kashyyyk.
Catching the Rain:
“Are you going to quiz me again?” Gree asks. It’s teasing, light. Lips brush against his neck. Howzer tips his head and closes his eyes. His grip tightens around the datapad, preventing Gree from taking it.
“You put all the fun facts about Kashyyyk on this pad,” Gree insists with another tug.
Howzer turns and takes Gree in. He’s back in his armor. Gree sighs. Howzer gives him a sad smile, acknowledging, “We knew our leave was short.”
“Keep Ryloth safe,” Gree says.
“Protect General Yoda,” Howzer tells him.
Gree sighs, then kisses him one more time. “Miss you already.”
