Plotting:
Tup know that look. He sidles up to Hardcase and grins. “Who are you planning to needle?”
Hardcase gives him a faux innocent face. Tup raises his eyebrows. Hardcase smirks.
“What’s the plan?” Tup insist.
“Plan?” Hardcase stalls. “There’s no plan.”
“I’ll help.”
“You will?” Hardcase looks surprised.
“No one ever suspects me,” Tup whispers.
Hardcase turns, looks at him. He grins slowly, conspiratorially. “Here we all thought you were sweet.”
“I never said I wasn’t,” Tup teases. “I just offered to help.”
Hardcase laughs, then kisses him. Tup stills, blinks. He hadn’t been expecting that. He pulls Hardcase closer.
