A Fix-It:
Fox struggles. He’s sinking fast. He’s going to drown if he can’t get free of his armor. None of the Jedi are going to save him, they’re too busy fighting Palpatine.
I have you, a familiar voice in his mind says. Lips presses against his and suddenly Fox can breathe. Carefully Kix helps him remove his armor, then instructs, Hold tight, that was a deep dive. We’ll bring you to the surface slowly to avoid decompression sickness.
When they finally get to the surface Palpatine is dead. Fox rests against Kix. “Good. I’d have to chastise you otherwise.”
Kix laughs.
