Bad Day:
Waxer has that plotting look. “Lay down.”
Boil huffs. “Why should I?”
“Because you’re have the worst day and I’m going to snuggle your bad mood out of you.” Waxer somehow manages to look sweet and guileless as he says this. It’s impossible to be mad at Waxer when he’s like this, not that anything that happened today is Waxer’s fault. Boil sighs, finishes taking off his kit, and lays down. Waxer wraps himself around him, then kisses Boil’s neck. Boil kisses Waxer’s knuckles. Then they talk about Boil’s no good, horrible day. Then Waxer kisses him. “Better?”
“Yes. Thanks.”
