Summary: Jean-Paul comes home to Kyle after a long press tour.
A/N: Written for the
fandomweekly challenge the north star with the bonus challenge constellations.
Being Home:
“Is it really the Northstar? The one, the only, the amazing!”
Jean-Paul narrows his eyes at Kyle’s greeting. Kyle laughs and Jean-Paul just know he’s about to add more descriptors.
“I’m really tired of press tours,” he sighs.
Kyle’s eyebrows raise as he wraps an arm around Jean-Paul’s waist and pulls him close. “That bad?”
Jean-Paul lets himself lean in, rest. “It’s better when you’re there.”
Kyle kisses his cheek and then his lips. Jean-Paul cups Kyle’s cheek and deepens the kiss, lets himself get lost in the man he loves.
“I’m here now,” Kyle promises, pulling back just enough to murmur against Jean-Paul’s lips. “Did you eat enough? I argued them into scheduling enough breaks.”
Jean-Paul rolls his eyes.
“Hey, I worked really hard on that,” Kyle protests.
“I know how to take care of myself, but I appreciate your efforts,” Jean-Paul acknowledges. He knows how to take care of himself, how to compensate for his increased metabolism.
“I have plans, now that you’re home,” Kyle entices.
“What plans?”
“I found a place that’s secluded and away from the light pollution, so we can actually see the constellations. I packed us a picnic.”
“I love you,” Jean-Paul smiles, relaxing.
