Imagine:
Getting lost in a cave with a handsome stranger isn’t the twist to this campaign that Tup’s anticipated, but he’s more than happy to huddle close to Luke and spend part of the night flirting. He’s grateful Rex ordered him to keep the civilian safe.
Towards morning Luke gives him a soft sad look, cups his face, and kisses him. Tup grips his hands and kisses him back.
“You’re leaving,” Tup states.
“I’m sorry. I was warned this temple isn’t stable with time,” Luke says. “I’m about to go back, but maybe I can tell you enough to change things.”
