They’re only in the pet store to pick up cat food, but Jon goes still around the Halloween display. Jay looks over and grins as he sees the orange dog collar with little bats and a moon it. The bowtie is a bat. It glows in the dark! “We have to get that.”
Jon agrees, smiling.
By the time they finish their errands Damian has already let himself into their apartment and is playing with their cat. He pauses to greet them both with kisses. He loves the collar.
Later he floods their phones with pictures of Titus in it.
