Summary: After Kix gets injured at work Jesse makes him take the night off.
Punched:
“I’m fine,” Kix tries. “My scan came back, nothings broken. I don’t have a concussion.”
“You got punched in the face,” Jesse growls.
“But I’m fine,” Kix insists. “I’m going to take some meds and finish my shift.”
“No, your shift is now over and I’m going to spend the rest of the night fussing over you,” Jesse informs him. “Right after you take your meds. Keep that ice pack on your face.”
“I’m fine.”
“Punched in the face,” Jesse grumbles before carefully kissing Kix’s forehead. “We’re in hyperspace, you can take the time off.”
Kix sighs, leaning into him.
