My brother was in rare form yesterday. We don't talk like we used to, but he called me and I went to go hang out with him and his friend Brandon. We visisted Brandon's girlfriend at work, got some food and then ended up at my Aunt Kandi's with Lisa sitting around the fire.
As it turned out my brother's girlfriend was upsetting him. They'd made plans weeks ago to go to this concert together and she decided at the last minute to go with her friends instead. So he was in one of his moods, not at all fun. We ended up inside playing uno because it started to rain. Brandon left when his girlfriend got off work so she could grab something to eat, he was paying. My brother's girlfriend wanted them to go to a party, which my brother didn't want to go to, but as he was her ride home he had to at some point meet her and get her home. He wanted her and her friends to stop by my Aunt's and then he'd follow. They wanted him to meet them in another city, which wasn't even the city that the party was being held in. They didn't have any specific meeting place except meet us in this city...which is well big. My brother got more angry as they figured it out. We stopped playing cards and watched TV. His girlfriend called him again and I just got my stuff together so I could get a ride home and he wouldn't have to worry about dropping me off before he went to go meet his girlfriend.
He wanted me to walk home. In his defense he was on the phone with his girlfriend and it isn't far. He quickly realized that he'd yelled at me and basically told me to go walk home in the dark and the rain. I was angry at that point. He really didn't need to be taking it out on me especially since I had settle in for the night when he'd called me and yet I still went out with him. He apologized, he let Brandon know what was going on, since they'd gotten back and we all piled into his car and I got dropped off at home.
Oh well, today promises to be better. I've arranged to take one of the residents to the mall. She loves the mall so it should be lots of fun.
