Hesitation was created by TheOneCalledEli for the Awesome Ladies Podfic Anthology XI and is for a Captain Marvel Maria/Carol get back together post movie fic that can be found here.

A Fix was created by semperfiona_podfic for noxelementalist for purimgifts for a Star Wars Sequel gen fic of Rose meets Rey after The Force Awakes that can be found here.

They both really capture the different feelings that I tried to put into each fic and I'm still feeling flaily!

Promote/Rec/Sing the Praises* of Yourself!

I like that I've been running a Power Rangers Femslash exchange. This will be the tenth year. I created a DW comm for it last year prfemslashex and I'm hoping to be able to promote other toku centered exchanges on there. Or even other femslash centered exchanges. I'm always happy to see more femslash.

I really like a fic I wrote for I wrote for the piningexchange last year. It's a Rogue One everyone lives and nobody dies fic from Stordan Tonc's pov. He's a minor character in the movie and book adaptation. I was expecting maybe 5k when I plotted it out and was a little overwhelmed because I don't often write longer fic and certainly hadn't written that much for a Star Wars fic before. It's a little over 10k and Stordan Tonc/Bodhi Rook. I liked the background I gave Stordan, that he's dealing with PTSD while still trying to find ways to help the Rebellion and falling for Bodhi. I'm still working my way through supplemental material and wasn't sure who to grab for the medic or mechanic I needed, but I think taking Carter from Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue and Damon from Power Rangers Lost Galaxy worked. I didn't expect to come out of the MCU movie Endgame shipping Nebula and Rhodey, but when I got them as a prompt for the mcu_exchange I really liked the way I wrote Nebula and Rhodey bonding and Nebula working through her trust/identity issues. It's a bit of 3k and is here

I should not like this line as much as I do, but I adore it. Just read this adorable Venom/Eddie fic by pepperfield where Venom watches rom-coms and tries to seduce Eddie with what he's learned. It's adorable and wonderful and gave me all sorts of fuzzy happy feels. You can find it here.

Found this lovely little T'Challa and Shuri pre Black Panther fic where Shuri has a crush on a young woman and T'Challa teases her about it. It's adorable. You can find it here.

So I just found this amazing fic by Minnow on AO3! It's Melinda May centric and includes both the current Avengers movie team and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. team working together at various intervals. It's mostly gen though Melinda and Bruce do hook up at one point (the story is a teen rating and doesn't go into details). The ending is brilliant. There is a wonderful intereaction between Natasha and Melinda and I love the way it touches upon emotional issues that both Melinda and Coulson are working though. The ending is just beautiful. It does include some spoilers for Winter Solider, but nothing that being a comic book geek wouldn't have already told you. The story is locked so you'd need to be signed into AO3 to read it.

Finally watched Thor. This was difficult. I decided I had the extra cash and was tempted to splurge on getting Captain America because I kinda loved it, but opted for Thor because it was the only one I hadn't seen. Got it home, put it in and was greeted with a blank screen. I took it back and got it replaced. Then I promptly got busy with homework and work and trying to recover from this shoulder injury. Finally put it in the player and again nothing but a blank screen. I decided to try and put it in my computer and try that. My computer informed me that it wasn't a region 1 dvd, but I could change my dvd region if I liked. The box said it was region 1 so I took it back to the store...where they had no more Thor but kindly let me have Captain America. I had the exact same problem with the Captain America disc. Thankfully the Iron Man 2 works, which I'd gotten the same time I'd bought the orginal Thor. I made them give me my money back.

After a rough day at work I stopped at a different store, paid five more dollars than I'd orginally done, but got a copy of Thor. It works. I'm in love with it. I can understand why my friend James didn't like it, but they did a great job with Thor and omg Loki was awesome and I think I'm a little in love with Jane. I also want more Darcy. Finally that scene after the credits...I've loved those scenes, but this one made me want the Avengers movie like crazy. I'm also glad that Coulson appears to be live up to his fanfic rep as an amazing char.

In other news I have two epi left to watch of Firefly. I'm in love with this show. It's amazing and I wish I'd watched it sooner. I love Wash, even knowning what happens in the movie he's my fav char. Jayne's grown on me more than I thought he would. I may have also developed a huge crush on Zoe.
